Fizička dugmad bi se mogla vratiti na RAV4

After years in which manufacturers have focused on increasingly larger screens and digital controls, the debate on physical buttons is back in the spotlight. Toyota zapravo razmatra modificiranje unutrašnjosti novog RAV4 ako zahtjevi kupaca idu u tom smjeru.

Kompanija prikuplja prve povratne informacije o SUV-u i ne isključuje ponovno uvođenje nekih tradicionalnih kontrola.

Ekrani su protagonisti, ali kupci traže više praktičnosti
The latest generation of the Toyota RAV4 was designed following the trend that many modern cars share: reducing buttons and switches to a minimum. Some functions, such as adjusting the climate control fan speed, have been moved to the central display, while temperature and volume still retain dedicated controls.

According to Yoshinori Futonagane, responsible for the development of the model, the possibility of bringing back some physical buttons remains open and will depend on the preferences expressed by motorists during the first months of marketing.

Iz Kine stiže jasan signal
Potražnja za tradicionalnim kontrolama nije ograničena na zapadna tržišta. Toyota explained that even in China, where it had initially focused on an almost completely digital interface, many customers preferred knobs and buttons to manage the main functions of the car. Iz tog razloga proizvođač je već počeo sa ponovnim uvođenjem nekih fizičkih kontrola na druge modele namijenjene tom tržištu.

A choice that follows a trend already adopted by several brands: Volkswagen, after the criticism received for capacitive controls, announced the return of the buttons, while Kia and Audi have confirmed that they will continue to use them. Mazda, however, has chosen the opposite path with the new CX-5, entrusting most of the functions to voice commands and buttons on the steering wheel.
